How to get to rue Montorgueil

Visiting rue Montorgueil is very easy as it is right in the heart of the modern city of Paris it is easy to reach from anywhere else.

The closest metro stops would be Sentier or Chatelet Les Halles

From the Airport

A taxi from the airport is of course the most direct way and best if you are flying and have luggage and needing to get to a hotel here. The distance is about 30 km by road and will take perhaps three quarters of an hour depending highly on traffic of course.  The fee on the taxi meter should be about 40 euros.

Public transport options are also good, the best is by the city train service, the RER. Line B runs from the airport towards the city and the stop at Chatelet-Les Halles is only a few moments walk from the southern end of the road.

From the Eiffel Tower

Unfortunately there are no good direct public transport routes, it is possible to use the metro line 8, or M8, which requires no changes but there is plentiful walking involved as well.  Of course a stroll anywhere in Paris is a treat so this may be part of your great experience, but it isn't the fastest.

Using M8 you should walk to the station at Ecole Militaire and rid it north until Bonne Nouvelle.

If you would prefer to take the bus so that you can see the city streets as you travel then take bus 69 until Bourdonnais, walk to Chatelet and board bus 38 there for the remainder of the trip to Turbigo. It is a short walk along rue Tiquetonne westward to reach rue Montorgueil.
